I went to get a calcium ct scan at Mount Sinai radiology. I was told on the phone prior to my appointment the cost was $100. My insurance does not pay for this test but my doctor thought it was a useful test for me. I got the test and paid $100.00. Two months later I got a bill (surprise) from Elliot Eisenberger for $458.00. I was never informed of this cost, and I never consented to this cost. Who is this guy anyway? Will I receive another bill from A Mount Sinai doctor? Stay tuned.
