I've rented in places with HOA for a while now and appreciate the safety that comes with it. I have no complaints about the quality of the building, but not having a rooftop is a bummer for highrise building. The staff are great, the guest suites could use some updating but for how much to stay the night it's unbeatable.
The concierge and employees in this building are disrespectful beyond words and extremely obnoxious and unprofessional. I wanted to simply visit a friend of mine who let me into the building by dialing the callbox and yet I was stopped and inquired about the most unnecessary details even though I had already entered my information and the purpose of my visit in the ancient directory they maintain! My recent experience with Ellington Condos and its staff has been beyond disappointing. Despite multiple attempts to address a hostile, racially charged, and unprofessional encounter with an employee in the shared parking garage, the company has failed to respond adequately or resolve the issue.
