Two of my family members were referred to this clinic by their insurance company Ambetter. I was reassured by the clinician (and Ambetter) that this clinic was in Network and I gave my credit card to cover copays. I had really high hopes for Ellie Mental Health. I saw my therapist twice and by the second visit I was suggested to exercise worst case scenario solutions in my situation, rather than actually being helped. My therapist also mentioned they would provide me local resources for the type of help I needed and I never received anything. Good luck getting through. Every time I call the hold is 15 to 30 minutes. You cannot talk to the location directly. It seems to be a call center who handles bookings. Very frustrating.
The decision to start therapy was not one that was easy for me but I am beyond glad I was recommended to Ellie Mental Health. Not only was I able to find someone who works with my insurance, but she is 10/10 amazing. Being able to feel comfortable, encouraged, and heard by your therapist is so important and I am so grateful that she has offered me nothing short of that. Having a therapist that I can laugh with was so important to me and I would just say I am so lucky to have found you Kailee! You rock!
