I was contacted to schedule an appointment for the following week. I was given a therapist and a time. The day of, I didn't receive a phone call, or a virtual link. When I tried to call, I had to leave a voicemail. They responded via text message and informed me that they didn't have me on schedule, that they didn't accept my insurance ( they told me they accepted it the previous week), and that I was put on a waitlist. Wow, I don’t know how my review got deleted, but this is the most unprofessional place that I’ve ever been to. I was supposed to see two therapist. I only ended up seeing one. It was not a good fit, and I was supposed to be transferred to another therapist I reached out to the director. Nobody responded to me. I’ve seen two therapists through Ellie. After my first therapist left, it took five months to get scheduled with someone new - despite me reaching out multiple times to the office manager asking for help. My emails were ignored for months, which was incredibly frustrating. I was eventually matched with a new therapist who I really liked, but unfortunately, the ongoing billing issues made it impossible to keep going. We had a wonderful therapist that worked well with our son who had to leave due to not being paid by the company. We rescheduled with a new therapist, and when my son and husband arrived, waited nearly an hour in the waiting room, only to find out the therapist no longer worked there. We were not informed of her leaving and received no cancelation notice.
