Years of great service! Dr. Dana, his partners, and staff have been taking care of me and my pets for years now. I've had one dog die of cancer, I lost a cat to liver failure, and my current "baby" is doing great! Everyone at Ellenton Animal hospital has always been competent and caring. Dr. Dana treated and gave me many years with my pets even after their, eventual, terminal diagnosis' and euthanasia. One of the best We have two Shiz-Tzu's whom are just as much our children as our human child is to us, and after being with an animal hospital in Sarasota for a while, we decided to choose a different one because of the rotating vets at the other hospital. Who loves puppies? I think Dr. Dana loves puppies more than anybody (maybe even more than me). He treats my dogs like they are his own. He takes the time to answer my questions and never makes me feel rushed. He loves my babies and even sneaks them a treat before they leave the office. The staff is the same way, caring and thoughtful.
WOMEN @ FRONT DESK IS AWEFUL I am new to the area and checked local vets around town with decent reviews and happened to find this clinic through an online search. When I first called to make an appointment the lady who answered the phone was a %$#CH! I still managed to take my pet there anyway, because I figured maybe she was just having a "bad" day? vet This is a local vet and you will not be disappointed. They take excellent care of the animals and the staff is very good. I have had them board my cats for over a week on several occasions and have never had a problem. My cats were well cared for and happy when I picked them up. I only barely knew them when one of my cats got very sick and they could not have been more helpful. I eneded up at pet ermergency at 2:00 AM and the vet there called this vet and they were happy to talk to them even at 2:00 AM!

Sad day today💔😢. I had to put my Ralphie down . He had a seizure was not doing well. He was 14. I rescued him at 2 years old. I gave him a awesome 12 years. He also gave me 12 awesome years. I want to Say Thank you to Dr Zachary Pearl. And the staff for there compassion kindness in this difficult time

prescribed 1000 mg dose of antibiotic not approved for animals and known to cause Central Nervous System damage. My dog has lasting damage, loss of vision and balance. Never responded back to my calls or personal letter to the vet. Stay away.
