1st Rate are not renter friendly property managers. Too much about "visual appeal" for prospective candidates and the property owners and not enough attention is paid to what is valuable to the people who actually call it home. Despite what 1st Rate seems to believe, I actually find an apartment more appealing and would be more likely to stay as a tenant when it looks like people enjoy living there, even if it might look more "cluttered and messy" such as children having bikes stored on the patio.
