Ellen does not have the most empathetic bedside manner. If you want to be coddled go elsewhere. If you want the best, most honest and most informed treatment… she’s your girl. She saved my professional career and emotional wellbeing after a horrific car accident. Her intelligent and well written summaries of visits provided my attorneys with the information that resulted in a huge check from the insurance company. I am forever grateful.
My husband was in the icu for suspected stroke, they had to give him tpa drugs and was monitored very closely , Literally everyone else that works at gbmc and there icu unit was amazing and the care has been great, but dr. Deibert was rude and blunt . She came in to talk to us about what's wrong and proceeded to tell us my husband has an aneurysm. I love Dr Deibert! She is just so smart, kind of like a scientist, and completely invested in you as a patient. I was in a car accident that caused me to have a concussion, and other injuries. It was sincerely petrifying. Dr Deibert was my advocate. Her only desire was to get me on the path to a complete recovery. Yes, she is direct, but that is what I needed to get to the other side. Excellent physician, knows her stuff (take it from me, a physician who has become her patient). Excellent bedside manner.
Sad that this is wellspans only neurologist that's deals with concussions.This women is horrible and almost caused me to take my own life.Very ignorant and arrogant towards patients with very real issues.I was in an accident that has changed my life forever,going on 5 years now and I'm no better than the day I was in the accident.Do not recommend this Dr. To anyone. Wellspan needs to find other concussion doctors so our world doesn't revolve around one person .funny how it shows 5 stars with no reviews LOL
