Took some out of town friends before a show. This place has really gone downhill. Service, particularly at the bar was abysmal. I will say, the cocktails and food were excellent.
Wow what a bummer. Ella's used to be a must visit restaurant for us. We hadn't been back in a few years and if it wasn't for the building staying the same I'd think I went to the wrong place. The menu is entirely different and in the worst way. Incredibly mid. Used to be such creative and wonderful dishes. Corn agnolotti. Chicken bao buns. The most amazing kale casear salad. A once incredible five star restaurant that was purchased by Live Nation, (yes, that Live Nation...), and turned into a one star establishment by every measure. Food is now garbage, menu is a joke, it's now always empty because no locals eat there, and the bar has become amateur hour. Do not eat here. If you're in town for a show at the Paramount, walk 5 minutes to any other restaurant. You could get a better meal at a school cafeteria.
Service was quick and friendly, Pizza was 7/10 Wings 6/10 Ceaser 3/10
Absolutely terrible service this past Friday night.. sat at the bar and waited 15 minutes to be greeted ( it was not busy), then finally ordered drinks and got them 10+ minutes after that.. the bartender was more interested in talking to some guys in the corner then taking care of us as she was forgetting things and not checking in at all. Really unfortunate to say I don’t think this place will last much longer.
