This has been the worst apartment I’ve ever lived in. I moved to Portland from Alabama and was only able to see the apartment via pictures. The apartment is right next to the trash chute which I was not told. When the machine goes off (midnight, 2am, 6am, 8am) my walls shake and the noise is so loud that I can not sleep. I got more sleep as a soldier in Iraq than I do in my own home. I have repeatedly asked the office about this and the answer is that nothing can be done about it.
