RecommendedMy husband took our dog Pepper there on June 15th to check out a severe spinal injury. When it was ultimately determined that her injuries were so severe that we had to have her put down, they let my husband have the full time processing everything with her and giving her the fullest, most love filled moments possible at the end of her life. My appointment was at 6 p.m. I arrived at 5:50 and filled out new patient paperwork. At around 6:20 I was finally taken back to a room and answered questions about the dog. 17 more minutes went by with absolutely no explanation as to why they were running late or at the very least an apology. I walked out without my dog being seen by the doctor. It's a shame because I purposely went there in an attempt to support a smaller practice in the area. They have a long way to go when it comes to decent customer service.
The communication leaves something to be desired.... Our appointment was at 10:20, after sitting in the room waiting for the Doctor an hour past our appointment time, and it’s no communication as to why the Vet was running late is totally unacceptable.... Being a small business owner if I was rude enough not to tell my clients that I’m running an hour behind?? Believe me, they would not be back. I’ve only been to this office and they have several, so I will go somewhere else next time.
They are very patient with our high needs/high stress dog. I highly recommend them.
Elkwood Animal Hospital just took care of my Nya kitty. The care was excellent. The staff is extremely personable & informed. I’m extremely happy with our experience and will be bringing all of my pets and livestock to them from now on!
Dr. Haskins is so compassionate & caring. Our puppies love her!
They fit my chicken in to a full schedule. The Staff and Doctor were all friendly and helpful!
