I got the cheesesteak. It was very yummy. The cheese was American, provolone would have made it over the top. My husband got the crab cake it was tasty also. Service was excellent. Definitely will be back.

This will be the absolute last visit to Elkton Diner. We have given it every chance to improve. Until little over year ago we ate there usually more than once a week. Things started worsening but we hung on. The last 4 experiences whether eating in or take out have been bad. Food is tasteless, salad bar has gone down to near nothing. The worst dining out experience I’ve ever had! My husband ordered an Italian sub that consisted of two slices of lunch meat, 1 slice of cheese and a glob of lettuce and tomatoes. I ordered a hot open face turkey sandwich, what I got was hard bread topped with mixed turkey and coleslaw covered in melted cheese, neither of us ate our meal. The woman at the register asked me how our meal was and when I told her it was awful she looked at me like I had three heads! But she still took my money!
I understand some of the trash, in the parking lot because of the wind but the cigarette butts were EVERYWHERE!!! There were tons of them, all along the curb and all up in the landscaping, it was absolutely disgusting!!! The food was okay and the service “Bernadette” was great �
Well worth a visit, food is so nice and at a good price.
Very cold in there yesterday....had to eat with coats on....ordered sausage and it was cold....went to pay and told he lady after she asked us how our food was that the sausage was cold and she argued with us and said I was wrong and they weren’t cold...pretty sure I would know if my food was cold or not....ordered cherry topping on the waffle and it had no cherries in it....just sauce....Going to JO JO’s next time...
It wasn't bad. Just nothing knocked it out of the park. An omelette with no cheese?
