I had a loved one who needed the services of Elkhorn Valley Rehabilitation Hospital. We were both impressed with the kindness and professionalism of the entire staff throughout their stay. The therapies are intensive and catered to the patients. The facilities are modern, clean, and well taken care of. My family member made impressive progress during their stay at Elkhorn. I can’t say enough good things about this rehab center. I arrived at Elkhorn after a devastating illness, unable to stand, walk or take care of my basic needs. After six weeks of intense therapy I was able to transition home with a pathway of full recovery. I continued PT at home twice a week to help complete my recovery. I’m now walking with one walking stick, driving, cooking and taking care of all my daily needs. The rehab is intense but everyone works towards the goal to get their patients home. Excellent place to rehab. Not one crabby staff member from management, PT, OT. nursing, cooks, helpers, cleaners.... not one. They are understanding when they set up a program for your PT. They push you a bit to help you improve, but they never just throw you in somewhere and expect you to make it (my fear). Family can be there during PT and family can eat meals with you for like $3 or $4 dollars for a full meal, and the food is excellent. I would recommend it to anyone.
