In December I contacted Elkhorn family medicine asking if they were prescribing GLP-1's as Saint Alphonsus was no longer allowed too. The secretary obtained my information and stated she would inquire with Dr. Fredrickson and get back to me. Shortly after I recieved a phone call stating they would continue my GLP-1 but wanted to have an in person appointment first. Dr. Frederickson seemed quick to dismiss symptoms I’ve had the last two times I’ve come in to see him. I didn’t feel heard or valued as a patient.
I am 78 years old and have many doctors in my life but Dr. F is the best I have ever had. He actually cares about your health and goes in depth about all aspects of your health to give you the best assistance he can provide.
