I had almost the exact same experience as Lys. I was there for a severely, severely broken leg that required emergency surgery, 2 plates, almost 20 screws - pilon fracture, feel free to google. Dr Potter Almost Killed Me— Unfortunately while in the hospital for something unrelated, I had the displeasure of “seeing” Dr. Potter (for 2 seconds) for a very severe medical issue in which she decided to take me off of my multiple meds cold turkey, nearly killing me from withdrawals and not even giving me the time of day. Dr Potter is beyond rude and dismissive … her bedside matters are very lacking. She walked into my relative’s room and sized me up and down and with a nasty look on her face and the most condescending tone started questioning me. Her lack of professionalism is outstanding … how do you have someone like that examine patients, interact with patients? Unbelievable ! Dr. Potter looks and acts psychotic. She came in disheveled and dirty. With her wig slanted. She’s was completely and utterly rude and disrespectful. She spoke right over me without giving me time to answer the one question she asked, then yelled at me. She literally diagnosed me with 3 different things within 20 seconds of meeting me, and no evaluation; then she stormed off. Every person I spoke to after said the same thing about her. Dr. Potter is RUDE and Disrespectful and I wouldn’t let her near your family at all. She talk over you, talks to you like you’re a child, treat her patients as they are garbage and doesn’t have time to listen to what they are saying or feeling. In a rush to leave.
