I find her to be very rude. She came in the room and did not even introduce herself. She gave me no information regarding the treatment that I needed and just said no with no explanations.Itake a blood thiner and having her cut my nails I'm fearful it's going to be a problem. Unprofessional at best.
Dr. Klawitter has been taking care of my feet 10+ years and has always been professional and excellent in surgical skills and knowledge.
I was seeing another doctor in her office that was incredible. I referred a couple coworkers to that physician. One coworker scheduled an appointment with my physician but when she showed up to the appointment, she found out the other doctor was going to see her since my physician more in depth surgeries. My coworker felt pressured into something more than she wanted too and ended up cancelling surgery and not returning. Recently my physician left her practice and she did not let him notify his patients and are being unethic... read more
Awful place. More about a buck than true patient care. Horrid office staff that don’t follow through with what they tell their patients. Do yourself a solid and find a better podiatrist.
She did totally unnecessary surgery for tarsal tunnel. I never had the condition. She was excited to perform her "revolutionary" surgery. But she should gave done an EMG test first, it wiuld have said NOT tarsal tunnel. She just wanted money and avclaum.
I took my daughter to Klawitter for a plantar wart. We attempted cryotherapy. It did not work. Went back 2 weeks later & saw Dr Penney. He surgically removed the wart. At a follow up 2 weeks later, Klawitter opened the file, muttered the word, "Cryotherapy", grabbed a scalpel & began cutting into the new/fresh skin that has formed over the surgical site. Had she read the file properly she would have seen that the wart was surgically removed and should not have cut into my daughter. NEVER AGAIN
Dr. Klawitter led me toward having titanium implant surgeries that did not work and had unknown long term effects. She also used taping as a way to "fix" my foot problems. I continued to come back to her with foot pain and she diagnosed me with neuroma when I actually had planters facilities. I am extremely disappointed in the care I received from her and would not recommend her to anyone.
Dr. Kawitter is a very thorough doctor. She is friendly with patients and does excellent work.
