Hello , About 2 years ago I started having severe pain in my right leg from sciatica. I went to a local pain facility in Palmdale ca . I received 3 sets of injection and lots of Norco but with no relief. After about a year of this they decided to try a minor surgery called a microdiscectomy with zero relief. Surgery was a failures. After a few more months of Norco now feeling addicted the team decided to remove my disc on 2 levels ! With there past failures I was scared so I read about DR .Lourd at UCLA . She gave me an appo... read more

Dr. Lord is outstanding! She has performed two lumbar spine surgeries on me over three years with excellent results both times so I suppose this should be my second review of Dr. Lord rather than my first. Three years ago, I had been experiencing pain accompanied by loss of sensation and proprioception in my legs. It was impossible to walk more than 10 meters without pain or my leg “going away”. I went to Dr Lord for a second opinion about back surgery. The outcome was very pleasing; it met my highest hopes. I had severe pain in my glutes and quads and hams. The first surgeon proposed fusing my sacra and L1 thru L5 vertebrae. Dr Lord examined me, my x-ray and MRI imagery and said a laminectomy at L1-2 and the excising of a cyst there on the outside of my spinal cord should provide quite significant relief. Further, her proposal did not preclude future alternatives, whereas fusion would be a bell that could not be un... read more

🫤It's January 2026. I had my appointment with Dr. Lord in July. 2025. She has repeatedly failed to post her Epic progress notes despite numerous repeated attempts reminding her and her assistant to please address this. 👎🏻 My insurance carrier denied paying for 2 MRIs because Dr Lord is either too busy, doesn't care, or is incompetent to post her Epic progress notes. ➖ I had to pay over $3,000 out of pocket cost due to her lack of caring and consideration. 🦴 I'm happy that this Dr Lord and her office team treated me like ... read more

I had the privilege of being under Dr. Elizabeth Lord’s care for a C5-C7 laminectomy with spinal fusion in the summer of 2024. Her exceptional surgical skill and professional expertise throughout this complex procedure have made all the difference in my recovery and quality of life. Before my surgery, I was living with severe pain and fear of injury that affected my daily life. Dr. Lord took the time to thoroughly explain the procedure, answer all my questions, and ensure I felt confident moving forward. Her surgical experti... read more
