She Listens !
I rarely go to Doctor. When I do go, I would like th e Doctor to listen and respond to my concerns. Dr. Francis seems a little too dismissisve of them. Also, when I asked about labwork, Doctor referred me to a health facility that charged 2-3 times the local rate for labwork.
Dr. Francis has a patient and kind bedside manner. She has been my doctor for over a year. She also sees my young adult daughter. She is a great listener and takes time with both of us. She has navigated me through a puzzling illness, made referrals to a specialist for me and has done thorough follow up. She is also very responsive through the email portal and quick with medication refills. I am very, very pleased with her.
My daughter went to Dr. Francis with help for migraines, low energy, unable to lose weight. Dr. Francis told her if migraines less than 3 a week, she couldn't help her. Told her losing weight is easy if she'd stop eating candy and cake, which my daughter doesn't. She never even asked my daughter about her eating habits. No empathy, judgmental, condescending. It took years for my daughter to reach out for help, and this woman did far more harm than good.
