One reason why I rate Gamble Garden as excellent is that the volunteers and employees are the best! Gamble Garden was founded 30 years ago by volunteers from Palo Alto Garden Club and other members of the local community. Volunteers are still an essential part of the organization. They plan the annual Spring Tour event in April, organize a variety of classes and children's events, and help maintain the garden.
