I chose this practice for it's location a few years ago. I enjoyed my virtual visits with Nurse Practitioner, Kimberly Tatum. However, my appointments with the Doctor were not anywhere near enjoyable and this last in office visit was the last straw. The office still mandates masks. They give you your appointment date for your yearly and tell you that you can change it later. In the exam room was a political sign, encouraging you to call your representatives. Dr. Dewey's practice can be overly bureaucratic. They treat you like a number and do not take the person into account.
Worst experience at a medical office ever! Front desk staff is rude. The charges with insurance are outlandish. No provider should be allowed to double charge copayments. Beware of this office!
After my visit today, I left feeling absolutely humiliated and disappointed in my care. For starters, I get horrible cold sores and require medication to combat it. Back in March, I had an annual physical, and apparently asked too many questions about my own body which led to a $30 copayment today for having a conversation with my doctor months ago.
