Absolutely horrible. I started visiting Barr over a year ago, and it went fine. But, every single appointment, she gives me the most basic depression and anxiety screening you can find online. I then asked to change my information from my mother's to mine over a year ago and her and her office still hasn't fixed it, even though I've reached out multiple times. Dr Barr has been extremely kind, patient, and caring of our adolescent son as we navigate his diagnosis and treatment of ADHD. I love how she listens to us, the parents, but also my son. She understands that parents know their children better than anyone and uses her education and experience to help us navigate and make decisions. Very happy we found her!
Dr. Barr has treated two of my daughters and worked with both of them trying different medication’s after others didn’t fit , even offering one of my girls to go through a DNA test to find the best medication fit for her. She really tried to find the best solutions for their issues.
I was referred to Dr. Barr by my primary care doctor, as I was trying to transition off of SSRIs. She helped me wean off while starting new meds, and I really appreciated the way she handled our sessions. However, a week before our 3rd scheduled appointment to follow up on the transition off of SSRIs, I received a letter saying she could no longer treat me because it "wasn't a good fit."
