I thought Dr. North and Neurology Associates were great! I got a concussion two years ago from a car accident and was having continued issues. She worked with me to figure out what was going on and how we could address the issue. I received a diagnosis and a plan to start to see if it would help. I've been to a couple of other Doctors for my concussion and they were horrible and made me feel worse that I went for help! Dr. North was incredible. I'm thankful to have found her.
So I was a patent for almost 9 years.... Not once did she do an actual physical exam (I have MS) or order an annual MRI. I had to ask her to order an MRI after years of not knowing if my disease was worsening and I just didn't know... Thankfully, my MRI was fine but I truly feel like a doctor treating patients should at least do physical exams!
If I could give no stars I would. I was told to follow up with her after multiple ER visits for syncope. After weeks of not being able to get through to make an appointment, I finally scheduled one only to have this sad excuse for a doctor, tell her receptionist to call me back after 3 MINUTES and cancel the appointment. Her reasoning was that she looked over my chart and stated “This isn’t a neurological problem, talk to a cardiologist”. Didn’t even see me to come to that conclusion. Got a referral after months and months of a mystery illness. The receptionist then called and said "she made me cancel because there's no point in seeing you because it's not neurological".. No tests, nothing. She made this decision after reading my chart for an issue NO ONE can figure out and is suspected to be neurological. Now reading other reviews, I'm glad i didn't see this person.
