I have been seeing Dr. Eliyahu Fuchs for many years. He is a highly respected Gastroenterologist and Internal Medicine specialist in the Morristown, NJ area. He is associated with Morristown Memorial Hospital and Atlantic Health Systems. Dr. Fuchs did not return my phone calls even with the multiple messages I left for him. Though my endoscopy and colonoscopy appointment was scheduled close to 2 months ahead, Dr. Fuchs cancelled the appointment at the last minute and never rescheduled it with me. He left a written message on my Atlantic Health My Chart account claiming that I have not responded to his contact. I had my first colonoscopy last week I recommend Dr Fuchs to anyone needing an endoscopy and or a colonoscopy. Wonder experience considering I was nervous. Great place it made my experience very memorable.
Top notch Gastrointestinal guy who is a great doctor and scientist. He is extremely comprehensive and never quits on you. If you need the best this is the Doctor to go to.
ABSOLUTEY TERRIBLE. Zero bedside manner - super abrasive - rude and nasty. Provided no solutions of care for my elderly grandmother in the hospital. He looked at her, said "you are life-threatening" and "I wouldn't touch you you're too old". She is 90 years old and didn't need to be berated by someone who is also not in their prime mind you. Should be ashamed of how he speaks to people who are sick and at the mercy of the doctors. ZERO STARS BUD.
I've had occasion to meet with De. Fuchs a few times over the past 10 years. In the past year, he was able to get my insurance company to authorize a colonoscopy (because of a family history) even though they fought, and I'm so glad he did, because it has prevented many problems. Recently, my GERD has been terrible, and he said "we'll get to the bottom on that," and I trust him. He takes his time with patients, and is very thorough.
Dr. Fuchs was so patient and understanding. He gave and continues to give me the upmost atteniton. I will forever be indebted to him. Thank you for saving my life!!!
I met Dr. Fuchs when I was a patient at Morristown Memorial. He was good when I was an inpatient. Once I was released it was so difficult getting thru to him. His office phones ring, sometimes you get an answering machine but NO ONE returns your calls! I call 3-4 times before I can get someone to speak with then they promise to call back & never do. Today I had an appt to see him ( I waited a month) & I arrive to a confused receptionist who says he's not in the office today! FIND ANOTHER DOC!
