Crisis Mode I came to this practice because I was in a crisis mode and my current Psychiatrist was not responding to me at all. Everyone at Elium Health has been incredibly helpful! Heather has been most impressive and knowledgeable with diagnosing and partnering with us to help our daughter. We appreciate everything that they have done and continue to do. For the longest time we felt lost, with no help or guidance but we now feel like we have someone to partner with us and help with our daughter’s issues. We’re very grateful!
Heather Bisca is the best PMHNP-BC and Therapist that I have encountered in my 17 years of fighting and managing and understanding my disorder. Depression and Anxiety is invisble and far worse than having a broken arm or leg because everyone in public and even your own family can see that and know it will get better. I have been coming to Elium for services since July after years of disillusionment with other mental health providers. Every interaction has been a positive one; Kristen is always warm and welcoming while also being completely professional. Heather always listens carefully to my input and adjusts accordingly as we work together to find the best solution unique to my situation. If I have to reach out between appointments, the response is timely and respectful. I highly recommend this practice.
If you’re coming here for an ADHD assessment, just know that it is not at all comprehensive. Their diagnosis is based on a 20 minute TOVA test, and a few other brief screenings for depression, anxiety and PTSD that they have you fill out before coming in. The in-person evaluation lasted about 5 minutes. After that I was told they couldn’t diagnose me and that I might just have social anxiety.
