My daughter has had a blast training at Elite World. She loves going and has progressed greatly in the time she has been there. The coaches have a love and a passion for training the athletes. You can see this passion daily. I recommend this gym to anyone that is looking for a gym to take their kids to. We were at another gym before Elite World and it was like a babysitting class. Yes the coaches are tough on the kids. But maybe that is why in T&T there are only 2 in the state of Florida on the National Team and both of them... read more

This is by far the best gym my girls have been to! We've tried 3 others in polk county and none of them gave my girls the courage they needed. Elite World has given them strength, knowledge, love, and the ability to move higher and higher in their levels to become closer to reaching their goals. We adore every coach there. Elite World Gymnastics is the best gym in polk county!!

My daughter has competed on the T&T & Gymnastics teams at Elite World for 4 years. She loves all of the coaches and staff. We have always had a wonderful experience at Elite World. All of the coaches, athletes, staff & parents are like a family because of the many hours they spend at the gym.

I have been an athlete at elite world gymnastics for over ten years. I have been to other gyms and trained with coaches from all over the world. And elite world has the best coaches. These coaches have treated me like family. They have coached me to the highest level of tumbling possible and have got me on national team and even got me to worlds. One of the tumbling coaches was a worlds coach for the USA which is a great honor.

HORRIBLE! Though the gymnastics program is very successful their cheer team is virtually non existent and the program has been falling apart since it started. I was shocked to see on "watch week" (once a month where we can see our kids) the owner scream to her team across the entire gym, 50 squat jumps- NOW! The ages of the kids who were to do this were between 4-13. The Elite World Gymnastics staff has the worst customer service! They overcharge for packages and then do not give out all items. We are still waiting on a refund of merchandise purchased that has not come in (7mon. later). They allow their coaches to berate the parents and students; I myself witnessed one of the coaches call out a 4 year old in front of everyone calling them a "retard" and then making them do laps around the gym all because they missed the counts. Staff is rude and dishonest. They steal money by overcharging and giving out all merchandise paid for. They punish students for doing things correctly instead of COACHING them. The office manager plays nice to your face but as you walk away talk to the next person she sees about you. If you attempt to do any other program than gymnastics be prepared to be treated like the "step child." There are far better gyms in Lakeland that welcome both the students and the parents.

My cousin went to the gym with dream to become a all star cheer leader. Instead they got broken promises, money stolen, and had to deal rude staff.
