Rip Off! – I signed up for a year-long contract at Elite Sante and have been charged erroneously the past three months for membership fees! My contract only extended for 12 months, and they've taken money out of my direct deposit for 15 months now. I've called four times and keep getting excuses about "account lady" being out of town, busy, or "will call back." In defense to nicoles negative posting – From Audy at Elite Sante- About negative feedback. (I worked with her personally) We spoke on the phone with her in June when she wanted to cancel her account, we told her that we just needed a note in writing and her early termination fee, she agreed. (Way before the hurricane) We put a courtesy HOLD on her account for TWO months awaiting her letter. No letter ever came. Elite Sante- Kicking you when you are down – I used to love this place until.... THIS! I am a Portlander going to graduate school in New Orleans. I just returned to my New Orleans apartment after evacuating from Hurricane Gustav. I finally got power back, and am able, for the first time in weeks, to check my bank account-thinking I had a few dollars left for groceries after this expensive and horrid evacuation. Luxurious, spa-like – After working out and relaxing in the steam room, or using the Swiss shower, I feel like I've just received a full hour of pampering..much different from how I used to feel after a trip to my old gym! I've never had to wait to use the treadmill, and in the middle of the day there is rarely anyone using the gym at all. No boys allowed means that I don't care how I look when I work out, or if my pantylines are showing. Excellent equipment members friendly – I joined this gym 10 months ago and have to say that they do have excellent equipment. I also like the fact that it is not a "pick up" joint for local singles. The other members are very friendly and usually only 3 to 5 members are present. They always give me a towel and a locker key when I arrive, which I like. BEST GYM I HAD EVER SEEN! SUPER CLEAN!!! AND WOMEN'S ONLY – If you are looking for ONLY Lady's gym this IS IT! It is super friendly and CLEAN!!! Gorgeous, clean, spa-like gym for women – Elite Sante is a hidden gem! The facilities are breathtaking. Everything is brand new, in tip-top shape, and extremely clean. No waiting for machines - there are enough for everyone. From virtual reality bikes to treadmills and ellipticals -- each with there own flat screen, cable TV -- to new nautalis equipment. Women's exercise will never be the same – I couldn't work out a day without it! With all of the excellent equipment I feel confident in my exercises. Whether the strength or cardio equipment they run so smooth and easy it feels like a dream. Not to mention they have all the lastest pieces like the virtual reality bikes, and the golf core trainer.
