The staff is awesome. Always explains things and keeps me updated on everything. Encourages me and ready to answer any questions that arise.
My experience with Hospice started in the late 1990's. I have worked in the Hospice field in different positions and with companies in CA, TX and TN. Like many others I have also used Hospice for my loved ones. I love what I do, but didn't feel that any of those were the right fit for me. It wasn't until I went to work in 2019 for Elite Hospice that I felt I was where I needed to be. We are now a part of the Affinity Hospice Team out of Alabama. Mom entered hospice care with Elite Hospice 5 days ago and so far everyone has been just amazing. I’ve really appreciated the support in learning how to care for my now bed-bound mother. I appreciate the professionalism coupled with warmth and truly caring attitude everyone has had. I didn’t think we would want/need the social worker but I had her come to meet her and see what she type of support she offered.
