In this market, be sure to choose an agent that that wants to do more than sell a home but truly acts as your advocate and earns repeat and referral business by following through. Our agent, Tami Hurst, didn't act in our favor and I called her out on this before the sale was final but didn't know how to get out of our TREC contract to find another agent and not lose the home we had on contract.
