Dr. Lay was absolutely wonderful. He was very friendly and professional, and he took the time to explain the entire ingrown nail removal process thoroughly so I knew exactly what to expect. That alone made a huge difference. He also made it clear that he was available if I had any questions afterward, which gave me a lot of reassurance. The care didn’t stop when the procedure was over. As disabled vet with multiple issues, I must say that Dy.Lay and his office was not just the best podiatrist I have seen, but the best care I have ever received from any doctors office. Worked with me for a long time but unfortunately, my injuries were to great and had to have surgery. He and the staff took very good care of me for my surgery. The absolute best Dr that I have ever visited. The only better than his attention to detail is his bedside manner. The only con is that I wish he could treat all of my ailments lol. The receptionist is also just as top notch.
My experience with this office was less than acceptable. Dr. Lay is smart and kind, a good doctor, but his office manager, Nina, was definitely not professional with me. I needed reconstruction surgery, and had confirmed the practice accepted my insurance before ever seeing the doctor. Over two months in, she informs me they do NOT take my insurance, and she had gotten "Alliant" and "Alliance" confused, and she didn't catch it until I was pretty well established and getting ready to schedule surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Lay. He completed two surgeries on my feet and both times were successful. He took his time to explain the procedures and really understood my concerns. He is kind, gentle, and knowledgeable. Thank you!
