The professionalism and kindness of the doctor and her assistants
From scheduling with Hollis and attention from staff the process was totally efficient. Dr. Leonard was recommended by another physician and I could not be happier with the results.
My son accompanied me on my visits. On leaving her office after the first one, we said it simultaneously, "This is it! We've found the right doctor ". Just in her presence was reassuring. I felt at ease right away. She explained everything involved in cataract surgery, and was sweetly patient in answering all of my questions. On the day of surgery, it was so calming when she showed up with her beaming smile. Excellent job confirmed in post surgery visits.
Extremely disappointed in Dr. Leonard and her staff today. It's a long drive to her office and I arrived 10 mins early for an appt at 11 a.m. to recheck my lenses after cataract surgery last year. This is kind of important, right? I had spoke with staff at her office that I had severe asthma since birth and don't wear a mask because it has affected my health so negatively over the last year and a half. Dr. Leonard is knowledgeable and experienced in her field. I had cataract surgery for both eyes in July and August 2020 and it went well. Please follow the Dr. Leonard's instructions very carefully after your surgery and you will be fine. I can now do all my daily activities without my glasses which I have worn for 52 years. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Leonard and her team to anyone who needs their help.
Dr. Leonard performed cataract surgery on both my eyes in January 2020, and for the first time in over 40 years, I can see clearly without contacts or glasses. It's like I have new eyes! It was a painless procedure and she takes time to answer all concerns and questions before and after surgery. Her staff is professional and friendly and a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend her practice.
Dr. Leonard performed my 2 cataract operations and two laser treatments. She is a very professional, caring, and competent doctor. She explains all procedures and is ready to answer all questions. Her staff is friendly and helpful. It is rare to find a doctor and staff as excellent as Doctor Leonard’s practice.
Dr. Leonard informed me in 2013 that I had "Fast Growing Child Like Cataracts" and that she would be doing surgery on my within the next 5 years. Since that date, three different ophthalmologists have found absolutely no indication of any cataracts of any type in either of my eyes. I will never return to this persons medical practice.
It is the 8th Anniversary of my Cataract Surgery and delight in shaving my face each morning without glasses. I remember Dr. Leonard everyday with delight.
