Being from the BBQ capitol of the universe, Memphis,Tennessee, I can tell you without question Eli's serves up the best pork anywhere north of the Mason-Dixon Line. Forget Montgomery...City....THIS is how bbq was meant to be!

The price is right, portions are good and food taste as good as the barbecue I get in Texas. Far more superior to city barbecue
You have to try the turkey, hot dogs and the dirty baked beans. LOVE LOVE LOVE it.
Our family had heard about this place and we stopped in. The food and service were spectacular. We noticed a sign on the door that said they only accepted cash or checks. I asked if they would take an out of state check, we are from Missouri. They said that would be fine. They said they did not take credit cards because they liked being old school. Old school is awesome.
Great pull pork BBQ sandwich
I had the rib tips, jalepeno cheese grits, & jalepeno cornbread. All of the food complimented each other so well. The grits were so creamy with just the right amount of spice. The ribs were delicious & the barbecue sauce was nice & tangy. Food came out fast too! We didn't realize they didn't take credit/debit cards. Luckily I had my checkbook. They take cash & checks. We will definetely be back when we visit Cincinnati again.
The food is outstanding but just be careful and DON'T move the tables. They get kinda rude when you do that. Make sure you complete your dining experience before you tip. One staff member's attitude would have completely changed the tip I left.
