We drive all the way from Reynoldsburg, Oh to savor the flavor! Hands down, one of the best bbq in the state!
The food here is simply amazing. We moved from Cincinnati almost 2 years ago and we try and come to Eli's when we are back in town. The ribs are phenomenal. They have the right amount of spices and I LOVE that slightly sweet taste. Well worth the stop.
My husband is a chef and we love coming to Eli's! The sauce is amazing, the meat is tender and perfectly seasoned, and we love the relaxed atmosphere. Come as you are and have some great BBQ the Southern way.
Very laid back location with good food. Sauce is good (sweet), mac and cheese is okay, beans were great sweet and a little spicy.
This is the only place to go for REAL southern pulled pork. I have tried the rest and this is the only place that takes me back to Macon. My best friend is from Warner Robbins GA and always missed the taste of home. This is the place, don't even bother with the rest and 2 hour "smoking", or smoke in a bottle. You can smell the hickory smoke from a block away. If you want to know what is is supposed to taste like, ask these guys for a bit or the meat dry.
I'm from Memphis Tn, the World Capital for BBQ and I would put yours up against anybody's. Very good, the real deal.
The last time I was in Austin, TX I waited six hours for Franklin's BBQ. I lived in KC for a year and ate all the classic BBQ joints. Eli's is the best BBQ I've ever had.

My son goes to University of Cincinatti and I looked up places to eat on Trip advisor. This place was number 3 on the list. I tell ya this has to be the best BBQ I have ate! Good prices and ribs that melt in your mouth! Not to mention the baked beans that are FIRE!!! Definitely a favorite now when we come visit!
