Dr. Folickman filled a cavity twice and both times the filling broke. I had to go a second dentist to have it properly fixed. The primary reason for his incompetence is that he rushes work in order to fit as many patients in as possible.
Like many New York offices, space is at a premium here. While the office is a bit cramped, the staff is quite polite and helpful. Dr. Folickman is quick and certainly does listen to your concerns; however, at times he is a bit too quick. Most of the procedures, he will describe how painful they will be in advance. As far as costs, his services are quite fairly priced. After hours, he is always available for consultation and support.
So far, so good. Accommodating staff, Saturday hours (a plus), and no-nonsense treatment. No surprises and no over-treatment (you know, no leafing through the Porsche catalogue while examining your x-rays).
While I haven't YET needed any work done, I found Dr Folickman very accommodating schedule-wise, and very caring, helpful, and thorough in the last check-up. They took my budget dental plan, which helped!
My porcelain veneer came off, I went to see Mr Flockman with my veneer. He put some glue on it and put it back on, in around 25 seconds. And charged me $200 for the glue and push operation. When I politely contested, he just walked away. Form your own opinion but I am never ever going there again, and I told all my friends and family to stay away.
Dr. Folickman is expensive. He didn't explain how much procedures were before he started right away. I was hit with a $2,500 bill after everything was done. His workmanship was poor. His work resulted me in developing halitosis. Go to another dentist. You DO have another choice.
I have been very pleased with Dr. Folickman for a number of years. He has seen me fast in emergencies, is pleasant, and does his work well. Sincerely, Diana Bloom http://hometown.aol.com/wijmlet
