Elicare’s website says that the port coquitlam clinic is open from 9 am to 5 pm on Saturdays, but the clinic is not open. The doctor handling appointments will only take appointments by phone and refuses to see patients in person. After calling the phone number on Google and their website during their supposed operating hours, nobody picked up. Horrible service and outdated website information.
They will not transfer medical files to any new doctor. I have been waiting 11 months with multiple requests by my new family doctor for my medical file.
We had Dr. Slanina as a family doctor in this clinic, he is a great doctor but he moved to Alberta and the clinic didn't inform us. One day I tried to call them and make an appointment with my doctor, and surprise, the clinic was permanently close. Unfortunately this clinic has been closed for one year, until 2 months ago. They don’t take walk ins. The prescribe medicine over the phone without diagnostics. Beware.
