Oh my gosh, Michael went into the Dr. because he could not swallow food and keeps bringing it up. So far Michael has had an upper GI and is scheduled for a CT. Dr. Tarakji is so thorough and is leaving nothing unturned. In a short time from when we met to the time we see him again, to find out what’s going on has made us realize how good and concerned this Dr. is. We have confidence in what he is doing. Michael trusts him which is good for someone with dementia.
Dr. Tarakji is very knowledgeable and skillful in his specialty. I am a retired gastroenterologist and I chose Dr. Tarakji to manage my intestinal problems and I have never regretted that decision. Dr. Tarakji is incredibly competent and caring.

He listens and explains well and provides written info to take home. He eased my fears about taking a particular medication, and explained why there was no reason to be concerned. I trust him.
Dr. Tarakji runs a wonderful set of offices. His whole staff and system is the best I have ever experienced. Dr. Tarakji is a competent, caring, compassionate doctor. Highly recommend!
Dr. Tarakji is by far the best gastroenterologist around. My last 3 colonoscopies who were performed by a doctor at another facility were very painful, even though I was moderately sedated. When I went in for my consultation with him, I made sure to tell him my fears. He assured me the prep solution would not be a problem, nor would I feel anything during my endoscopy and colonoscopy procedures, as I would be completely asleep. He kept his word. I felt nothing. He is second to none!
