Dawn Gaston review. Dr. Stephan is an excellent clinician and highly professional. He is the only doctor I’ve had that listens to me and treats me with respect. His expertise is second to none. He has greatly improved my Diabetic outcomes. His staff are helpful, professional, and always pleasant.
I previously for the past 4-5 years had a (for the most part) positive experience with Dr. Stephan and the nurses. My Rx did change every 3mo which I am not sure if that is common practice, but finally in the last year or so things seemed to be balancing out. I tried booking an appointment during the summer (my annual for cancer screening and also because I was feeling unwell). Great doctors that care about their patients. Sometimes it may take them awhile to get your medication right but they continue until it is right. Thank you.
Doctor was very dismissive during appointment. I was given a blood test order to check thyroid levels but despite being told I was potentially insulin resistant, I wasn’t given a diabetes blood test in the original order. Instead I was told to go to his “friends” office to meet with him and get that test done. Why do I need to see another doctor to order a separate diabetic blood test when this doctor that specializes in the disorder can’t order both tests at the same time? I have been going to Dr Stephan for 20 years. He is wonderful and caring. I have referred people and they love him. Seems like front desk is a complaint. Have you told Dr Stephan?? I was there a week ago and they bent over backwards to accommodate me.
