My husband and I have been coming here for years and it is one of our favorite places. It's not just "good food for a bar." It's actually really good and high quality food. Everything is made to order so they make it exactly how you want it. My husband is a big beer drinker and part of the Mug Club. He loves the beers. I don't drink beer but they have a full bar so that makes me happy. DO NOT EAT AT Eli Cannon's. Went there Sunday afternoon-8 people-Everyone that ate the salad got Sick-violent vomiting and diarrhea. Called Middletown Heath Dept. they cleared them, but owner will not refund the $ for the meal that made me/us sick for 36 hours-it was pure hell. Disgusting.

Hi again, I can not reiterate to you enough the procedures that we have in place to make sure that something like this can not happen. I also explained to you how seriously we took this issue, in regards to receiving a call from the Middletown Health Dept., meeting them down at the closed (always on Mondays) restaurant within the hour and allowing them full, unfettered access to all of our safety protocols, our cleanliness procedures and sanitary measures. The food was wonderful,really enjoyed the fried pickles and the buffalo shrimp were wonderful. The service was great and it was fun looking at the walls and ceiling. Recommend this to anybody.
The beer selection is outstanding! The food was delicious. Great meeting place.

I recently visited Eli Cannon’s - as recent as two hours ago. In what was probably my 500th visit, I fell victim to the Roulette Pepper in the Poppers. IT WAS AMAZING. I literally have lost feeling in my bottom lip, but I know it’ll come back and the food, beer, and staff were amazing. Shout out to our waitress, Jen - who was kind enough to even offer shots of milk, along with a cup full of sour cream to calm my tears. You play you pay, bruh!
What can I say, I love this place! The array of delicious beer, a yummy menu. 24 years later and still enjoying this middletown staple❤️
