Our experience with Rachel Jones from Elgin Realty was extremely disappointing. As a military family relocating from Colorado, we had to rely on Ms. Jones to be our eyes and advocate throughout the home buying process since we were unable to view the home in person before closing. We made it explicitly clear that we needed a clean, move in ready home and Ms. Jones assured us that the property met those expectations. Rachael Jones has been the best realtor we have ever worked with. She helped us from beginning to end, first with buying our home in Elgin then with selling the same home. She has so much experience and valuable knowledge about the market in the area and the business in general. She knew all the best and reliable contractors to contact, and was so patient with us throughout the entire process on both ends of buying and selling. The only downside is we can’t take her with us. We cannot recommend Rachael enough.
Terrible company. Sold me a house that was "already inspected". I saw right through their lies, but bought the house anyway because my family is here. I do not recommend Elgin Reality at all. Crazy to see all the recent reviews, reflecting how I felt a few years ago
***updated to 1 star!!!**** *12/30 - Requested move out report for proof of cleaning and inspection with no response. There were so many things wrong with the home now that it’s in our possession. Spoke to the neighbors and they said they informed Elgin Realty MONTHS ago of the tenant’s dog digging holes along the fence line and they never addressed it** As military service members stationed overseas, we trusted Elgin Realty to manage our home rental, but our experience was deeply disappointing.
