Not a good experience this year. My husband’s glasses were incorrectly done resulting in them needing to be redone. He needed his glasses for a medical exam and didn’t have them in time. Overall time frame for my husband to get glasses he could use was almost a month. Then when they sent over my husband’s information to their billing department they coded the refraction to go towards his health insurance BCBS not his eye insurance Vsp. My glasses are also not correct so I need to go back in for a rx recheck . Way too much fo... read more
Very unprofessional. Very overpriced they only care about their bottom line. They make their billing very hard to understand then get mad if you ask for explanation. They blame the insurance company.

Quality of eye exam Dr Kennedy is the best , he is very professional and very knowledgeable. All the staff that work there, are very good at what they do all are very helpful and professional . Best eye exam anywhere

arrived at 8:28am for what was thought to be a 8:45am appt ...told to be there by 8:30am. Doors were locked!!!!!!!! on the glass dooor the hrs said they open at 9 am. did erronds and after 9 am called for my scheduled appt time. told it was 8:45am. given lame excuse why doors were not open...and was asked to reschedule.... was polite when I normally say F...em when I am treated this way.Maybe they don't see the disrespect in the whole thing....no stars
Called Elgin Family Eye Care and had an appointment within a week and a half. Staff checked my insurance a couple of times and I was accepted. All of the staff that I encountered was very friendly and helpful. Dr. Breuer was helpful , friendly and very professional. I order glasses and received them in a couple of weeks. My new glasses are working out great for me and I will highly recommend ElginFamily Eye Care to my family and friends. Thanks
