Dr. Elfant was outstanding in explaining my options.
Horrifying!!! Dr. Elfant took good care of my father until very recently when he needed the most care. My father was in agony and could not even get a call returned from the office. Pancreatic cancer went undetected even though he had more than 11 liters of malignant ascites collecting in his abdomen. I don't understand how someone can be a patient in a practice for several years and then get dropped and ignored. Dr. Elfant always listens to any/all of your questions and concerns. I have never felt rushed! He sometimes is a few minutes late for your appointment, however, that is due to the fact he spends as much time as needed with each patient. I feel that far outweighs the the few minutes you may have to to wait! He and his staff always return calls or messages on the patient portal promptly! Our family highly recommends Dr. Elfant ??
Dr Elfant, you have given my husband a truely new lease on life! We are so blessed to have Dr. Ahmad and assoc. remove tumor in his throat that not only make hime given a second chance,but did all with such precision and grace! Might be he is good Dr. But he doesn't have much time to listen your concerns. Give appointment in months not a month.
HORRIBLE!!! I have been a patient of this Dr. for over 15 years. That ENDS now! He is so over booked that he throws you to his associates or his nurses. I don't think any of them touch base with the other because everything is a run around with them. No one is on the same page and you just continue to be sent for test and procedures that make you no better. It seems that the only thing that does get better is his bank account.
I saw Dr. Elfant for unexplained stomach pains, nausea, vomiting, and acid reflux. From the moment I walked into the office, I felt as though he did not entirely believe I was having these issues. All he ordered was blood work and kept prescribing me various medications to "try out," instead of taking the time to figure out what was wrong. My frustrations grew because the pains were not going away, I was not getting callbacks nor getting answers from Dr. Elfant. He continued to refuse to do a
Ever since I needed to get a colonoscopy in my early 40's family history of my mother passing away at 56 of colon cancer Dr. Elfant has performed my three procedures for me. I put full trust in his hands and his staff is great.. I still have my magnet the staff signed for me was so sweet. The anesthesiologist made me feel very comfortable and laugh as I am afraid of all Doctors just how I am. I am 57 and need my 4th one hoping my insurance is accepted as I truly trust him. I have uhc scared.
Dr Elfant was warm, direct & through. I met him in the hospital after being admitted for stomach pain. His interns & residents were wonderful. Telling me I could reach them at anytime. I was confident in the care I received. Patient for life.
