Hello. Amputation of a limb can be very overwhelming, creating a lot of unknowns for the future. Mike came into the hospital to visit me shortly after my amputation and calmed most of my anxiety. He shared with me what he could do to get me back to normal. He shared the process that takes place when manufacturing a prosthetic leg for the first time. Michael Carlson at Elevation Prosthetics is awesome! I met Michael at Sutter Hospital after my left leg was amputated belopw the knee and he visited me while in the hospital and has helped me with both my first and second prosthetic after the first one wore out. He helped me in every way you would want a committed prosthetic specialist to help and was so patient, clear and helpful in my journey to walk again. I’ve been a patient with Michael Carlson at Elevation since Spring 2023. I contacted him with a unique request for a specific custom prosthesis for a chronic ankle condition I have. He has always been very communicative and thoughtful. He gladly answered my emails and was honest, forthright, thorough and informative.
