Dr. Kowalski has been seeing patients in my assisted-living community for roughly one year now. She is not only knowledgeable and experienced in medicine, but she is also very compassionate with great bedside manner. She will take time to look at the full “picture” of a person and treat them and their families with respect and dignity, no matter the situation. I highly recommend Dr. Kowalski as a healthcare provider.
I called the office to speak with a Grace and she mentioned they do accept my insurance however they have a membership based model, so I would have to pay an out of pocket annual fee on top of my insurance. I could see if I didn't have insurance then that would be a good model but it doesn't seem right to bill a patients insurance company then force them to pay out of pocket for a mandatory membership fee.
I had a recent issue that required me to see a hematologist and a gastroenterologist. Since I am relatively new to the area, I did not a have a relationship with these specialists. Dr. Kowalski, my primary care physician, contacted both a gastro doc and hematologist and I got appointments with each quickly. Dr Kowalski has been treating me for a couple of years. She is a very kind and compassionate doctor, with a great bedside manner. She’s very thorough and makes sure you understand everything. Her staff is also extremely kind and helpful.
Doctor Amanda and team are thorough, kind and thoughtful about my care. I am able to ask questions, get referrals and feel really good about the care received.
