Great apartments in the heart of Salt Lake. My sons recently moved in and we were unsure what to make of the mixed reviews online. Our niece lives across the street so we knew the area already and after looking around decided to lease with Elevate. The building is under new management and they are doing their best to remedy all the issues people have complained about in older reviews (parking, elevators, security...) Avoid this place. During my time here, I've dealt with a stolen package, broken elevators, a gym that was closed for a month, and a rusty water leak in the parking garage that damaged my car's paint. On top of all that, the fridge broke. The freezer temperature won't go below 50 degrees Fahrenheit. Maintenance came out and told me the lightbulb might be too hot, so they taped the light switch down with duct tape. I highly recommend not renting here. My girlfriend and I applied here the day we toured because of a deal we were offered (apply the day you tour and get reimbursed for your application fees ~$385). The location, how nice the units appeared and the amenities convinced us that it was a good option. A few days later we were accepted, but it took them multiple weeks to get our lease to us which is something that should be available nigh immediately. Terrible property, terrible management. Elevators are seemingly down for service more often than they are functioning. If you have a maintenance issue, just assume it will take months to fix. I've had an HVAC issue since April that still isn't fixed. Greystar took over managing the property and are just as bad or worse than the last property manager. Office staff recycled the same lame excuses and gives the same lame apologies over and over and over. It's exhausting. I wouldn't recommend this property to anyone. Zero stars.
