We came up for a last minute college tour for my yougin hotel staff was awesome nice clean rooms but the Elephant Walk restaurant however was THE WORST RESTAURANT server was decent but not friendly kitchen chef was by far the worst experience ever arrogant attitude and aggressive demeanor. I had a very disappointing experience. From the start, the atmosphere felt off due to Chef Carlos’s attitude, which came across as rude and unprofessional. Unfortunately, the issues didn’t stop there the food was poor, and the service was just as bad. What concerned me and my husband the most was the lack of hygiene. Great food and atmosphere.
At breakfast, the staff was friendly and helpful. But at dinner? That bartender/waiter is surly, rude, inattentive, and curt. He was busy this evening, yes, but completely ignored us entirely for more than an hour, never bringing us water, or a menu, or even offering an "sorry for the delay." When we tried to get his attention, he wouldn't look at us, but did say (in a surly tone) "I know you're there."
