Why does the bar staff think it is alright to drop the "f-bomb" in conversations with patrons at the bar? It is really off-putting to hear such language from other patron let alone employees. I felt "trapped" and unable to leave until I finished my beer. I'm not a prude or a grumpy old man but think the tenor of the conversation was less than professional. This is ignoring the fact it took several minutes to get a drink at the bar due to the on-going discourse between the bar tender and the patrons sharing foul language.
The food quality and service are way below par. Menu has completely changed
Elephant Bar is spectacular! Their wait staff was not at this particular location here in San Ramon, CA - as it took 2+ requests when it came to extra menus, drinks, desserts, water, etc. As a result, the overall tip for our party of 9 was lowered to less than 15% vs our traditional 20+. We will continue to be dedicated customers at their other locations.
There was much salt in the chicken chunks in the Cobb Salad. Very disappointed. Thank goodness for the MyFitnessPal app to make me aware of the nutritional contents. I ended up eating ate just 1/2 of that salad, to spare my daily sodium intake and health. Service was very good but I probably won't be going there again.
Our food was simply delicious and our server was excellent. My family had a wonderful time. We'll be back again!
