Elephant Bar has a large menu that is sure to contain an item for any taste. I had the braised lamb shank and my wife had the macadamia nut encrusted mahi mahi. Both were delicious and reasonably priced. I will definitele return to sample some of their other dishes.
Very interesting place. With their relax setting and great chats, this place can be very interesting. The bartender always checks-up on you and will go the extra mile to make your day.
5-19-12 Food overcooked and tasteless(kona ribs) jambalaya was terrible. Will not be returning any time soon. Its a shame use to go all the time, but menu reduced along with quality
Consistantly Awesome Regular Customer for at least 3 years. Their food is consistantly wonderful and the wait staff is absolutly amazing! These team members really provide world class service! Get ready for an amazing dining experiance!!!
Good Food...long wait – The food is good. Their food is based a lot on Asian and tropical food. However, on the weekends, I would not recommend going there. The wait averages about 45 minutes to 1 hour and a half. It kind of depends what’s going on in Fresno that weekend. You always take a gamble with thier service. good drinks I didnt really like my experience here they forgot a few things when we ordered and took a long while to get them to us. i thought it would be better service. the food isnt my taste but they have awesome drinks. i wouldnt recommend it but thats just me!
Good food and reasonable prices The long waits are indicative of how popular this restaurant is. I've yet to have a bad experience with any of the food I have ordered. The service on the other hand is hit or miss; however, I will admit it has been better lately.
Go there for the atmosphere, stay there for the food Going to the elephant bar is more of an event. The music, the lights, and the design make it relaxed with a hint of party atmosphere. The drinks are orginal (and to die for) and the food is prepared in such a way that creatuvuty is shown. The servers are cheerful, and seem to enjoy their job. It is worth the price.
A wonderful atmosphere and great food I really like the atmospere at the Elephant bar. The waiters and waitresses are especially nice. I was thrilled when I was carded there last time I went. I am 46 years old and she thought I looked 20! That made my day. The service was very quick and the food came nice and hot.
