Dr. Elena Manning treated me for a broken foot. I know now that I was extremely fortunate to be assigned to her when I requested a BI-Deaconess Podiatry specialist. Dr. Manning performed the surgery at the BI to insert Pins into the displaced bone 4 months ago. The surgery went very well and I am making a full recovery. I visited Dr. Manning on July 14, 2023 for very consistent throbbing and sharp pain in my right foot near my bunion. Dr. Manning did not seem to be friendly or very attentive to the issue, and I did not feel like I was being listened to. She recommended I wear different shoes like birkenstocks or oofos. She said it would be very difficult to fix the issue as she had shown me in the x-rays I had done in the office before seeing her and recommended I continue with conservative approaches.
