My wife gifted me a 30 minute express facial in 2024 to Elements. This turned out to be one of the best gifts ever since I was having trouble controlling excess oil on my face. During the facial, it was explained to me why excess oil was occurring. After she fixed my face, she took the time to find the best face wash and lotion for me. I’m new to the area and have been looking for a salon, but unfortunately this experience wasn’t what I hoped for. For the price, I didn’t feel it was worth it. When I scheduled the appointment, I was told the stylist would reach out to discuss what I wanted and provide a price estimate. That never happened, and even during the service they weren’t sure of the approximate cost until everything was finished. I had my hair trimmed and colored… mousse was put in when I told them my hair didn’t like that product I also asked her not to use the tool she used because I am aware of the end result (frizz) she kept pushing me to straighten my hair when I had told her repeatedly I’m embracing the curly hair journey because it’s new.
