Elevators get jammed in the mornings with guests going down and back up after picking up their free breakfasts in the Green Room on lobby level. Allow more time than you otherwise would 7:00-9:00am.
Small, noisy rooms. Wifi doesn't work most of the time, elevators are a disaster (waiting times exceed 15 minutes). Breakfast area, food and behaviour of guests is worse then a high school cafeteria.
Staff is very friendly and helpful. Yes the elevators can be seriously slow. But sometimes they're pretty quick. I like being a few blocks away from Times Square. This is a nicely, quieter area.
There's a really good Italian restaurant half a block to the west of the hotel. Called Mercato's Trattoria. The spinach ricotta ravioli was heavenly.
Do you neighbors a favor and close your door slowly. Letting it slam is bad juju.
