The administrator put together a BBQ for residents on father's day, 4th and end of the year big party for residents and their families.
The morning staff in the building I'm in are amazing. Afternoon staff is so so bad. One pops pain pills, one acts like Nellie Olsen. There are a couple good ones but they only work one or two nights a week. Administration is so so. Food isn't good: not healthy, no fresh veggies, pretty much TV dinners or peanutbutter sandwiches.
They have some most friendly staff caring the management is very knowledgeable always willing to give a helping hand. It's a beautiful home like environment.
*EDIT* I changed 1 star to 5. I have mad respect for anyone who takes criticism constructively and completely turns things around, and so quickly* Current resident. This place is horrible. I had a major stroke 24 hours after arrival. They didn't have many of my meds & just shrugged their shoulders. And they are so stingy. We are supposed to be allowed 1/4 cup of juice with breakfast per their rules, but when I ask for juice they just have suger-free powdered kool-aid type stuff.
