If you need hair removal, go see Shawna. I tried electrolysis at three different places over the course of my twenties for hairs on my face, which got rid of the excess growth, but did nothing for the thick dark hairs. Shawna has saved me from the Looney Bin, where my stiff chin hairs were taking me at warp speed. I couldn’t keep my fingers from worrying them to the point that my bf asked me if I were developing a tic. The final straw was when I was cuddling a child who asked me if I had “a splinter” in my face! Perimenopause welcomed me with dark chin hairs that seemed to multiply weekly. A quick search came up with Shawna and it's been a great experience. Originally I went every few weeks or so, and now it's spread out a few months.
